The antiviral activity of cerium and lanthanum nanooxides modified with silver
Today, the antiviral activity of oxide nanomaterials can be used in the fight against the viral disease COVID-19. It is thought that Ag nanoparticles may bind to the surface glycoprotein of the virus and interfere with the virus’s interaction with ...

Cytotoxicity-related Gene Expression and Chromatin Accessibility Define a Subset of CD4+ T Cells that Mark Progression to Type 1 Diabetes [PDF]
Type 1 diabetes in children is heralded by a preclinical phase defined by circulating autoantibodies to pancreatic islet antigens. How islet autoimmunity is initiated and then progresses to clinical diabetes remains poorly understood.

Cytotoxicity of etietinate and vindesine [PDF]
The effects of an aromatic retinoid, etretinate and a vinca alkaloid, vindesine were investigated by culture of malignant melanoma cells in vitro with these two agents; either separately or in combination. Etretinate inhibited growth of a murine melanoma but only minimal effects were recorded with two human melanomas.
