Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Cytotoxicity of Printed Aligners: A Systematic Review
Background/Objectives: The capability of printing aligners directly, eliminating the need for a dental model or thermoforming, represents a significant advancement in aligner therapy. This review aimed to assess the cytotoxicity of 3D-printed aligners to

Skin mucus of saltwater fish: a new source of antioxidant activity and cytotoxicity [PDF]
Fish mucus layers are the main surface of exchange between fish and the environment, and they possess important biological and ecological functions. In the present study, the antioxidant activity (reducing power, total antioxidant capacity, and free ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Lymphocyte Cytotoxicity in vitro: Activation and Release of a Cytotoxic Factor [PDF]
WE have reported that cell contact per se is not sufficient to explain the rapid and dramatic in vitro destruction of target L cells observed when they are treated with immune lymphocytes or non-immune phytohaemagglutinin (PHA)-stimulated lymphocytes derived from various inbred mice1.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.
