Antibacterial and antibiofilm activity over time of GuttaFlow Bioseal and AH Plus

The sealers' antibacterial and antibiofilm activities against Enterococcus faecalis were evaluated by direct contact test (DCT) and confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), respectively, after 1 day, and 1 and 4 weeks of aging. Cell viability was determined by adenosin triphosphate (ATP) assay after DCT.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of endodontic sealers against microorganisms.The agar diffusion method was used.
