Introducing a Computerized Care‐Pathways System for Older Adults in Home‐Care Settings

open access: yesHealth &Social Care in the Community, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Introducing computerized care pathways for older adults living at home may be a promising way to improve the clinical dimension of integrated care. Evidence on how to implement them in various home‐care contexts is, however, sparse. A prospective, comparative multiple case study with nested analysis units was conducted across three home‐care settings ...

Anatomia microvascular do estômago canino e lesão gástrica provocada por antiinflamatórios não esteróides

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science, 2007

Inner-shell Annihilation of Positrons in Argon, Iron and Copper Atoms [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2007
The annihilation parameters of positrons with electrons in different shells of Argon, Iron and Copper atoms are calculated below the positronium (Ps) formation thresholds. Quite accurate ab initio calculations of the bound state wavefunctions of Argon, Iron and Copper orbitals are obtained from Cowan computer code.

Miniature implantable instrument measures and transmits heart function data [PDF]

open access: yes, 1971
Heart diameter is derived from measured transit time of 2.25 MHz ultrasonic pulse between two piezoelectric crystals attached to diametrically opposite heart surfaces.

Secure and authenticated quantum secret sharing [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
We propose here a quantum secret sharing scheme that works for both quantum and classical secrets. The proposed scheme is based on both entanglement swapping and teleportation together. It allows sender to encrypt his/her secret and simultaneously distribute decryption information of the encrypted secret among distant parties where decryption shares ...

Historical Linguistics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Linguists and archaeologists offer complementary viewpoints on human behaviour and culture in past African communities. While historical-comparative linguistics commonly deals with the immaterial traces of the past in Africa’s present-day languages ...

Attention Incorporate Network: A network can adapt various data size [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
In traditional neural networks for image processing, the inputs of the neural networks should be the same size such as 224*224*3. But how can we train the neural net model with different input size? A common way to do is image deformation which accompany a problem of information loss (e.g. image crop or wrap). Sequence model(RNN, LSTM, etc.) can accept

Constructing cocyclic Hadamard matrices of order 4p [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Cocyclic Hadamard matrices (CHMs) were introduced by de Launey and Horadam as a class of Hadamard matrices with interesting algebraic properties. \'O Cath\'ain and R\"oder described a classification algorithm for CHMs of order $4n$ based on relative difference sets in groups of order $8n$; this led to the classification of all CHMs of order at most 36.
