Calhm6 Governs Macrophage Polarization Through Chp1‐Camk4‐Creb1 Axis and Ectosomal Delivery in Inflammatory Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Calhm6 drives M2 macrophage polarization via the Chp1‐Camk4‐Creb1 axis, suppressing inflammation through calcium‐dependent ectosomal delivery. Calhm6 deficiency enhances M1 responses, boosting bactericidal activity but exacerbating tissue damage. LPS/IFNγ upregulate Calhm6 via Irf1, while IL‐4/Stat6 inhibits it, balancing immune outcomes.

Air Traffic Control Safety Indicators: What is Achievable?

open access: yes, 2006
European Air Traffic Control is extremely safe. The drawback to this safety record is that it is very difficult to estimate what the ‘underlying’ accident rate for mid-air collisions is now, or to detect any changes over time.

Visual analytics of flight trajectories for uncovering decision making strategies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In air traffic management and control, movement data describing actual and planned flights are used for planning, monitoring and post-operation analysis purposes with the goal of increased efficient utilization of air space capacities (in terms of delay ...

CCDC41 Drives Oocyte Meiotic Progression by Promoting Rab11a/Rab7‐Positive Vesicle Fusion with Target Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CCDC41 is essential for meiotic maturation in mouse oocytes through regulating Rab7‐positive endosomes fusion with lysosomes and Rab11a‐positive vesicle fusion with the plasma membrane. Abstract Coiled‐coil domain‐containing protein 41 (CCDC41), a core component of centriolar distal appendages involved in centriole assembly and ciliary vesicle docking,

Air Traffic Volume and Air Traffic Control Human Errors

open access: yesJournal of Transportation Technologies, 2011
Navigable airspaces are becoming more crowded with increasing air traffic, and the number of accidents caused by human errors is increasing. The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the relationship between air traffic volume and human error in air traffic control (ATC).

Onion‐Mitochondria Inhibit Lipopolysaccharide‐Induced Acute Lung Injury by Shaping Lung Macrophage Mitochondrial Function

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Proposed model of orally administered onion mitochondria (O‐Mit) uptake by lung macrophages and fuse with macrophage mitochondria (M‐Mit). This fusion reprograms the metabolism of dysfunctional M‐Mit in lipopolysaccharide‐induced murine acute lung injury by modulating dynamin‐related protein 1 (DRP1) phosphorylation and cardiolipin peroxidation ...

A Frequency Analysis Approach for Categorizing Air Traffic Behavior [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A method of analyzing National Air Space (NAS) air traffic that uses the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) is presented. The DFT is used to transform time domain traffic count data into the frequency domain where the sources of traffic in air spaces can ...
