This study develops a tunable n‐OSC hydrogel (PBFDO‐PAAc) platform with a tunable porous network and thermoelectric properties. It demonstrates the first report of n‐OSC hydrogels for evaporation‐driven hydrovoltaic‐thermoelectric electricity generation as well as chemically dedoping‐mediated OECT working mode reconfiguration. This work expands n‐OSCs’

Conformational Switching of Proteins on Material Surfaces Enabled by Peptide‐Oriented Adsorption
Responsive biointerfaces could be achieved using conformationally responsive proteins; however, their interconversion can be lost upon surface adsorption. Herein, we demonstrate that the incorporation a Au binding peptide into calmodulin allows for binding control on Au wherein the protein retains conformational switching. This capability was confirmed

Mechanisms of Degradation in Li‐Ion Batteries Under Low Temperature Exposures
Low‐temperature exposures, or freeze‐thaw cycles, are observed to significantly accelerate the degradation of Li‐ion batteries. A combination of electrolyte phase separation and mechanochemical stress leads to reversible and irreversible performance losses.

Decentralization in Air Transportation
2017In this work,we demonstrate that decentralized control can result in stable, efficient, and robust operations in the Air Transportation System. We implement decentralized control for aircraft taxiing operations and use Agent-Based Modeling and Simulation to analyze the resulting system behavior Decentralized controllers at each intersection of the ...
