Airborne gravimetry for geoid determination with Lacoste Romberg and Chekan gravimeters [PDF]
Airborne gravimetry for geodetic purposes such as geoid determination and global geopotential models requires good bias stability, as well as good performance in turbulence for large-scale national projects.

The global decline in biodiversity can be partly ameliorated by sympathetic design of green spaces within urban environments. This includes roundabouts on road systems. This study utilised a combination of approaches to assess levels of plant and bacterial diversity in roundabouts of varying size, soil characteristics and habitat complexity.

Abstract Projections of Antarctica's sea‐level contribution depend on future changes in surface mass balance (SMB), yet it remains uncertain whether climate change has already impacted SMB on the East Antarctic Plateau, given diverging trends in prior studies.

Rapid Land Surface Uplift and Groundwater Recovery Observed During the Syrian War
Abstract Recent geopolitical upheaval in Syria is driving regional growth by returning populations, which increases demands on water resources. In northwest Syria, widespread cropland abandonment during the Syrian War starting in 2011 drastically changed the hydrological regime of the region.

Modeling Large Dust Aerosols in the Community Earth System Model Version 2 (CESM2)
Abstract Dust aerosols have a wide size distribution from less than 0.1 to over 100 μm and dominate Earth's atmospheric aerosol mass. However, most Earth system models (ESMs) inadequately represent dust aerosols larger than 10 μm in diameter, limiting the accuracy of the simulated dust cycle and climate impacts.

This study investigated short‐term impacts of seed treatment‐derived neonicotinoids on soil bacterial communities in wheat‐planted microcosms. Over 10 days, significant Day and Day × Treatment effects on bacterial community structure were observed, with selective enrichment and suppression of specific taxa despite limited overall changes in alpha ...
