Lieb-Liniger gas in a constant force potential [PDF]
We use Gaudin's Fermi-Bose mapping operator to calculate exact solutions for the Lieb-Liniger model in a linear (constant force) potential (the constructed exact stationary solutions are referred to as the Lieb-Liniger-Airy wave functions).

The Distribution of the Area under a Bessel Excursion and its Moments [PDF]
A Bessel excursion is a Bessel process that begins at the origin and first returns there at some given time $T$. We study the distribution of the area under such an excursion, which recently found application in the context of laser cooling. The area $A$

Generation of finite energy Airyprime beams by Airy transformation
In this paper, the lone generation of a new kind of beam named finite energy Airyprime (FEA) beam through the Airy transformation of the coherent superposition of four different elegant Hermite-Gaussian modes is reported for the first time. Analytical expressions of the centroid, the r.m.s beam width, the divergence angle, and the beam propagation ...

Transformation of a Hermite-Gaussian beam by an Airy transform optical system
Analytical expression of the Airy transform of an arbitrary Hermite-Gaussian beam is derived. The optical field in the x-direction of the Airy transform of Hermite-Gaussian beams with transverse mode number m is the sum of the zero-order derivative to mth-order derivative of the Airy function with different weight coefficients.

Maximum relative height of one-dimensional interfaces : from Rayleigh to Airy distribution [PDF]
We introduce an alternative definition of the relative height h^\kappa(x) of a one-dimensional fluctuating interface indexed by a continuously varying real paramater 0 \leq \kappa \leq 1.

Generation of One-Dimensional Terahertz Airy Beam by Three-Dimensional Printed Cubic-Phase Plate
We first present the one-dimensional (1-D) terahertz (THz) Airy beam with a 0.3-THz continuous wave. The required phase modulation and the optical Fourier transform are implemented with a 3-D printed cubic-phase plate (CPP) and a cylindrical lens ...

Finite-energy accelerating beam dynamics in wavelet-based representations
Accelerating beams are wave packets that appear to spontaneously accelerate without external potentials or applied forces. Since their first physical realization in the form of Airy beams, they have found applications on various platforms, spanning from ...

Design, transform and control of optical field in discrete optical system: an example
A discrete optical system can broaden the spatial distribution of the input light through optical coupling in array waveguides, just like diffraction in continuous media.
