Mellin transform of quartic products of shifted Airy functions

open access: yes, 2015
The Mellin transform of quartic products of shifted Airy functions is evaluated in a closed form. Some particular cases expressed in terms of the logarithm function and complete elliptic integrals special values are presented.Comment: Submitted to ...

Linear Potentials, Airy Wave Packets and Airy Transform

open access: yes, 2010
The solution of the Schrodinger equation with a linear potential is considered. We use algebraic methods to obtain the explicit form of the solution for the explicitly time dependent Hamiltonian and discuss the general conditions which allow us to get solutions in terms of the Airy functions, yelding non spreading wave packets.

Properties of an elegant Laguerre-Gaussian beam in the receiver plane of Airy transformation

open access: yesResults in Physics
As the superposition of an even and odd modes constitutes an elegant Laguerre-Gaussian beam (ELGB), Airy transformation of the even mode, the odd mode, and the ELGB is studied.

Gravity‐Derived Antarctic Crustal Thickness Based on the Gauss‐FFT Method

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, 2022
The information on crustal thickness in Antarctica can provide significant constraints on its crustal deformation and tectonic evolution. To generate reliable images of crustal features, we investigate the model of Moho depth and crustal thickness ...

Influence of optical Airy transform on non-diffracting propagation distance of finite energy Airy beams

open access: yesOptica Applicata, 2021
Finite energy Airy beams (FEAB) generated in laboratory have a short non-diffracting propagation distance (NDPD), which restricts its application in laser communication, laser detection and other fields. Effects of optical Airy transform (OAT) on NDPD of FEAB is analyzed.

Theoretical aspects of transient temperature on cubic crystal surface in a photoacoustic effect

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Физика сериясы, 2020
In photoacoustic effect, the solid sample absorbs a fraction of the radiation falling upon it and excitation process occurs. The type of excitation depends on the energy of the incident radiation. The relaxation processes, which are also popularly known

Self-accelerating beam dynamics in the space fractional Schrödinger equation

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
Self-accelerating beams are fascinating solutions of the Schrödinger equation. Thanks to their particular phase engineering, they can accelerate without the need for external potentials or applied forces.

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Uniform semiclassical expansions for the direct part of Franck-Condon transitions

open access: yes, 1997
Semiclassical expansions for traces involving Greens functions have two contributions, one from the periodic or recurrent orbits of the classical system and one from the phase space volume, i.e. the paths of infinitesimal length.
