Oxidation von Mn2(CO)10 unter pseudo‐Gasphasenbedingungen generiert den schwach koordinierten 16‐Valenzelektronenkomplex [Mn(CO)5]+ als Intermediat, der n‐Pentan binden kann, da dieses der am stärksten bindende Ligand im System ist.
