O‐GlcNAcylation of KAT2A Enhances Bladder Cancer Proliferation by Inhibiting the KAT2A‐TRIM22 Interaction

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Lysine acetyltransferase 2A (KAT2A) is a transcriptional coactivator and a member of the Histone Acetyltransferase (HAT) family. While altered KAT2A activity has been implicated in various cancers, its role in bladder cancer (BLCA) remains poorly understood.

Phase IIB, Randomized, Double‐Blind, Placebo‐Controlled Clinical Trial of Intravenous Defibrotide for the Prevention and Treatment of Respiratory Distress and Cytokine Release Syndrome in COVID‐19

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Endothelial dysfunction is key in COVID‐19 pathogenesis. This randomized, double‐blind phase IIb trial investigated continuous intravenous infusion of defibrotide in patients hospitalized with SARS‐CoV‐2 infection and respiratory failure.

Redox environment modulates aggregation of ataxin‐3 in vitro — Implications for drug screening of cysteine‐rich proteins

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Redox environment modulates in vitro aggregation of Ataxin‐3, the protein implicated in spinocerebellar ataxia type 3. Reducing conditions stabilize native monomers and prevent aggregation, whereas oxidative conditions promote the formation of non‐native conformers and disulfide‐linked oligomers within the Josephin domain (JD).

ANALISIS ENZIM ALANIN AMINO TRANSFERASE (ALAT), ASPARTAT AMINO TRANSFERASE (ASAT), UREA DARAH, DAN HISTOPATOLOGIS HATI DAN GINJAL TIKUS PUTIH GALUR Sprague-Dawley SETELAH PEMBERIAN ANGKAK [The Effects of Angkak Administration in Sprague-Dawley White Rats on Alanine Amino Transferase (ALAT) and Aspartic Amino Transferase (ASAT) Enzyme, Blood Urea, and Liver and Kidney Histopathology Test]

open access: yesJurnal Teknologi dan Industri Pangan, 2009
Acute toxicity of angkak had been tested on 2 months aged male Sprague-Dawley white rats. Twenty five rats were divided into 5 groups; control, 2.5 g/kg body weight (bw), 5 g/kg bw, 10 g/kg bw and 15 g/kg bw, and each group was administered by angkak in water orally. The toxic effect of angkak to liver and kidney were tested by biochemical analysis for

Treatment With Valoctocogene Roxaparvovec in a Patient With Severe Hemophilia A Led to Sustained Normal FVIII Levels

open access: yesHaemophilia, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Valoctocogene roxaparvovec, an adeno‐associated virus (AAV)‐based gene therapy, enables endogenous factor VIII (FVIII) expression in patients with severe hemophilia A without the need for regular FVIII infusions. Long‐term follow‐up assesses durability, safety, and immune‐related challenges following gene therapy.
