Corundum Discovered by SuperCam and the Perseverance Rover at Jezero Crater, Mars
Abstract Mars is primarily composed of mafic mineral assemblages and their alteration products, but small, scattered rocks strewn across the landscape offer clues to greater petrological diversity. While traversing the Jezero crater rim, the Perseverance rover encountered several plagioclase‐rich light‐toned float rocks.

Oxygen isotope partitioning between gaseous CO_2 (~1 bar) and crystalline albite and albitic glass has been measured at 750–950°C, using the gas-mineral exchange techniques of O'Neil and Epstein (1966) and Stolper and Epstein (1991).

Volcanic intrusions and hydrothermal activity have modified the diagenetic minerals. In the Ulster Basin, UK, most of the authigenic mineralization in the Permo-Triassic sandstones pre-dated tertiary volcanic intrusions.

Use of albite wastes in stoneware glazes
Pre- and postflotation wastes of albite can be easily utilized as a substitute for pure alkali feldspars in stoneware glazes without causing any problems in glaze maturation. Depending on the glaze constituents, different surface textures can be produced

Numerical Investigation on Induced Residual Stress of Al/Albite Metal Matrix Composites [PDF]
The aim of the work was to investigate residual stress formed during fabrication of Al/albite metal matrix composites (MMCs) using finite element analysis. Optical images of MMCs were extracted from scanning electron microscope (SEM) after fabrication by

Li Distribution between Chlorite and Albite in a Common Vapor Phase [PDF]
This study attempted to examine the process of Li enrichment in spilites by testing the hypothesis that Li is concentrated in metamorphosed basalts from hydrothermal solutions in the temperature range 400º to 700ºC and at a 1.5 kb pressure.

An EXAFS and TRLFS investigation on uranium(VI) sorption to pristine and leached albite surface
Uranium(VI) was sorbed to freshly ground and leached albite in batch and flow-through systems in the pH range 5.0-6.4. The uranium(VI) surface complexes were studied by extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy and time-resolved laser-
