Inflammation and Cancer: Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets
Chronic inflammation fuels tumorigenesis via “internal drivers” and “external attractions.” Targeting these core mechanisms with combined therapies/novel deliveries enables precise, potent anti‐inflammatory–antitumor treatment. ABSTRACT Inflammation is a core pathological factor regulating tumor initiation, progression, and therapeutic resistance, and ...

Polysaccharides modulate immune responses by engaging pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) to induce T‐cell activation. In vaccine design, their particle size critically influences lymph node targeting and activation mechanisms. By engineering structural complexity and multivalent PRR engagement, polysaccharides enable precise modulation of immune ...

ABSTRACT Chicken meat contains high‐quality protein and is prone to postharvest quality deterioration due to high moisture and lipid content. Thus, in this study, edible coatings were developed from natural biomaterials, that is, chitosan (CH), gelatin (GL), Aloe vera gel (AVG), and carvacrol nanoemulsion (CNE), and their effects on shelf life of ...

This review highlights recent advances in microbial fermentation strategies for converting glycerol, a biodiesel by‐product, into 1,3‐propanediol. It discusses metabolic pathways, microbial inocula and key operational parameters to optimise production, supporting sustainable chemical synthesis aligned with circular economy principles. ABSTRACT Over the

Overview of the effects of different biostimulant categories on horticulture crops (leafy greens, strawberry and mushrooms). Microbial biostimulants are the mostly studied category and positive effects in growth and yield were described. Biostimulant research is limited in spinach and mushroom crops and using certain types of biostimulants (e.g ...

This study demonstrates that hypoacylated, rough‐type lipopolysaccharides (LPS) derived from Akkermansia muciniphila strain HW07 (ALPS) alleviates diet‐induced obesity. ALPS acts as a weak TLR4 agonist and significantly reduces weight gain, improves metabolic parameters, and restores gut barrier integrity in obese mice.
