MicrobiologyopenOn average, phones harbored 3.62 of the top 10 killers and 2.49 ESKAPE organisms. In total, 667 VFGs (8621 Hits) and 262 ARGs (2475 Hits) were identified on 95 mobile phones. Mobile phones serve as a platform for horizontal gene transfer and AMR development.
