Spinor algebras [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Geometry and Physics, 2001
We consider supersymmetry algebras in space-times with arbitrary signature and minimal number of spinor generators. The interrelation between super Poincar and super conformal algebras is elucidated. Minimal super conformal algebras are seen to have as bosonic part a classical semimisimple algebra naturally associated to the spin group. This algebra,

Digital Escape Room, Using Genial.Ly and A Breakout to Learn Algebra at Secondary Education Level in Spain

open access: yesEducation Sciences, 2020
One of the main objectives in mathematics education is to motivate students due to the fact that their interest in this area is often very low. The use of different technologies, as well as gamification in the classroom, can help us to meet this goal. In

Deformation quantization of vertex Poisson algebras [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
We introduce dg Lie algebras controlling the deformations of vertex algebras and vertex Poisson algebras, utilizing the notion of operadic dg Lie algebra and the theory of chiral algebra. In terms of those dg Lie algebras, we formulate the deformation quantization problem of vertex Poisson algebras to vertex algebras.

The Frequency‐Domain Lattice Boltzmann Method (FreqD‐LBM): A Versatile Tool to Predict the QCM Response Induced by Structured Samples

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
FreqD‐LBM simulates the oscillatory flow at the surface of a QCM‐D resonator in the presence of structured adsorbates. It derives shifts of frequency and bandwidth (equivalent to dissipation) on different overtones. Applications include rough surfaces, adsorbed rigid particles, adsorbed viscoelastic particles, spheres floating freely above the surface,

Symplectic reflection algebras and non-homogeneous N-Koszul property [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2005
From symplectic reflection algebras, some algebras are naturally introduced. We show that these algebras are non-homogeneous N-Koszul algebras, through a PBW theorem.

Surface Elasticity Based Nonlocal Vibration Analysis of Bidirectional Functionally Graded Tapered Nanobeam

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
This work proposes a surface elasticity‐based nonlocal model for analyzing the vibrations of bi‐directionally graded tapered nanobeam. The results demonstrate that, in absence of surface effect, the increasing value of tapered parameter leads to stiffness‐hardening of the nanobeam. However, the consideration of surface effect changes this trend and the

Algebraic Operations on Delta-Sigma Bit-Streams

open access: yesMathematical and Computational Applications, 2018
Operations in the Delta-Sigma ( Δ Σ ) domain are a broad field of research. In this article the main, focus is on applications in control systems, nevertheless the results are generally applicable for Δ Σ -signal ...
