On an algebra associated to a ternary cubic curve
In this paper we construct an algebra associated to a cubic curve C defined over a field F of characteristic not two or three. We prove that this algebra is an Azumaya algebra of rank nine.

Iterative Formulas for Enumerating Binary Trees
Enumeration is an important aspect for combinatorial properties of binary trees. Traditional solutions for enumerating binary trees are expressed by algorithms and most of them are recursive. In this paper, we give our solutions by iterative formulas for

Construction of self-dual binary [2²ⁿ,2²ⁿ⁻¹,2ⁿ]-codes
The binary Reed-Muller code RM(m−n,m) corresponds to the n-th power of the radical of GF(2)[G], where G is an elementary abelian group of order 2m. Self-dual RM-codes (i.e.

Color Edge Detection Hardware based on Geometric Algebra.
Modern techniques treat color images as separate monochrome images for processing. Partly, because there is no straightforward generalization of linear filters available for color.

The Jones-Wenzl idempotent of a generalized Temperley-Lieb algebra
We define an idempotent of the Temperley-Lieb algebra of any finite Coxeter system, which reduces, in type A, to the known Jones-Wenzl idempotent. We give, for any pair of parabolic subgroups, a recursive formula generalizing the well-known one.

The partial clone of linear formulas
A term t is linear if no variable occurs more than once in t. An identity s ≈ t is said to be linear if s and t are linear terms. Identities are particular formulas. As for terms superposition operations can be defined for formulas too.

Applying relational algebra and RelView to coalition formation [PDF]
We present an application of relational algebra to coalition formation. This leads to specifications, which can be executed with the help of the RelView tool after a simple translation into the tool's programming language.
