The Extended Fock Basis of Clifford Algebra [PDF]
We investigate the properties of the Extended Fock Basis (EFB) of Clifford algebras introduced in [1]. We show that a Clifford algebra can be seen as a direct sum of multiple spinor subspaces that are characterized as being left eigenvectors of Γ.

A new drag and lift correlation for spherocylinders from fully resolved Immersed Boundary Method
Abstract Many industrial processes deal with non‐spherical particles, e.g., mineral mining and biomass conversion. It is crucial to understand the particles' hydrodynamics to control and optimize these processes. To extend the current state‐of‐the‐art from arrays of spherical particles to spherocylindrical particles, we performed extensive particle ...

An algebraic basis for specifying and enforcing access control in security systems
Security services in a multi-user environment are often based on access control mechanisms. Static aspects of an access control policy can be formalised using abstract algebraic models.

The Cultural Grounding of Kinship: A Paradigm Shift [PDF]
English: Kinship systems are conceptually grounded in culturally formulated idea-systems we refer to as kinship terminologies and through which the boundaries, form and structure of human social systems are culturally constituted.

Abstract In cryogenic CO2 desublimation systems where phase change dominates both heat transfer and separation, conventional lumped thermal‐resistance treatments embed interfacial latent heat into an overall heat‐transfer coefficient, obscuring how phase‐change heat is partitioned between the gas phase and the coolant and limiting diagnostic insight ...

A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...

The monomial basis and the $$Q$$ Q -basis of the Hopf algebra of parking functions [PDF]
Consider the vector space $\mathbb{K}\mathcal{P}$ spanned by parking functions. By representing parking functions as labeled digraphs, Hivert, Novelli and Thibon constructed a cocommutative Hopf algebra PQSym$^{*}$ on $\mathbb{K}\mathcal{P}$. The product and coproduct of PQSym$^{*}$ are analogous to the product and coproduct of the Hopf algebra NCSym ...

We propose a new framework for compile-time ciphertext synthesis in fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) systems. Instead of invoking encryption algorithms at runtime, our method synthesizes ciphertexts from precomputed encrypted basis vectors using only ...

Gröbner Basis Algorithms in Service of Algebraic Set Decomposition [PDF]
Algebraic sets, i.e. solution sets of polynomial systems of equations, model a wide variety of nonlinear problems, both in applied and pure mathematics. One of the most foundational results in algebraic geometry sais that every algebraic set has a unique ...

Reduced basis approximation of large scale parametric algebraic Riccati equations [PDF]
The algebraic Riccati equation (ARE) is a matrix valued quadratic equation with many important applications in the field of control theory, such as feedback control, state estimation or ℋ∞-robust control.
