Synchronization of Analog Neuron Circuits With Digital Memristive Synapses: An Hybrid Approach
An hybrid circuit mimicking neural units coupled using memristive synapses is introduced. The analog neurons provide flexibility and robustness, and the digital memristive coupling guarantees the full reconfigurability of the interconnection. The onset of a synchronized spiking behavior in two circuits mimicking the Izhikevich neuron is discussed from ...

Toric degenerations of Grassmannians from matching fields
We study the algebraic combinatorics of monomial degenerations of Plücker forms which is governed by matching fields in the sense of Sturmfels and Zelevinsky.

POLYBORI: A framework for Gröbner-basis computations with Boolean polynomials
S.1326-1345This work presents a new framework for Grobner-basis computations with Boolean polynomials. Boolean polynomials can be modelled in a rather simple way, with both coefficients and degree per variable lying in {0, 1}.

SPICE‐Compatible Compact Modeling of Cuprate‐Based Memristors Across a Wide Temperature Range
A physics‐guided compact model for YBCO memristors is introduced, incorporating carrier trapping, field‐induced detrapping, and a differential balance equation to describe their switching dynamics. The model is compared with experiments and implemented in LTspice, allowing realistic circuit‐level simulations.

Abstract Electrification of distillation offers a promising route to reducing scope‐1 emissions from one of the chemical industry's most energy‐intensive unit operations. However, conventional adiabatic columns are dynamically inflexible: Long, energy‐intensive start‐ups make shutdown and restart impractical under variable electricity prices and ...

Algebraic Operations on Spatiotemporal Data Based on RDF
In the context of the Semantic Web, the Resource Description Framework (RDF), a language proposed by W3C, has been used for conceptual description, data modeling, and data querying. The algebraic approach has been proven to be an effective way to process

ABSTRACT Hybrid modeling combines first‐principles equations with a data‐driven subcomponent. Training for the data‐driven part is sensitive to measurement noise when training targets are constructed using pointwise time derivatives. Beyond differentiation errors, hybrid models involve solving an inverse problem to estimate the data‐driven term, which ...
