On power basis of a class of algebraic number fields
Let K=Q(θ) be an algebraic number field with θ in the ring AK of algebraic integers of K and F(x) be the minimal polynomial of θ over the field Q of rational numbers.

Semi-algebraic partition and basis of Borel-Moore homology of hyperplane arrangements [PDF]
We describe an explicit semi-algebraic partition for the complement of a real hyperplane arrangement such that each piece is contractible and so that the pieces form a basis of Borel-Moore homology.

Long‐Range Interactions in Topological Superconducting Systems: A Mini Review
Long‐range interacting quantum systems are surveyed in this review, with an emphasis on the long‐range topological superconductor and its variants. Long‐range interactions decaying in a power‐law manner can lead to exotic phenomena that finds no analogue in short‐range regimes.

ABSTRACT We introduce a family of bosonic quantum error‐correcting codes built as a rotation‐symmetric superposition of squeezed vacuum states, which promise protection against both loss and dephasing noise channels. The robustness of these “squeezed‐vacuum codes” arises from being arranged at evenly spaced angles in phase‐space, and simultaneously in ...

A MapReduce-based Adjoint method for preventing brain disease
In this paper, we present a statistical model performed on the basis of a patient dataset. This model predicts efficiently the brain disease risk. Multiple regression was used to build the statistical model.

An Algorithm for Computing an Integral Basis in an Algebraic Function Field
Algorithms for computing integral bases of an algebraic function field are implemented in some computer algebra systems. They are used e.g. for the integration of algebraic functions.

Abstract Large swarms often adopt a hierarchical network structure that incorporates information aggregation. Although this approach offers significant advantages in terms of communication efficiency and computational complexity, it can also lead to degradation due to information constraints.

Algebraic attacks from a Gröbner Basis Perspective [PDF]
Recently, a special kind of cryptanalysis coined as the algebraic attack has gained a lot of attention. In this thesis, we clarify this attack and discuss the threat to common ciphers.

The thesis describes a new method for obtaining minimizers for optimal control problems whose minima serve as control policies for guiding nonlinear dynamical systems to achieve prescribed goals under imposed trajectory and actuator constraints.

Finite-dimensional Schwinger basis, deformed symmetries, Wigner function, and an algebraic approach to quantum phase [PDF]
Schwinger's finite (D) dimensional periodic Hilbert space representations are studied on the toroidal lattice ℤD × ℤD with specific emphasis on the deformed oscillator subalgebras and the generalized representations of the Wigner function.
