A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...

Constructing Higher Nonlinear Odd-Variable RSBFs With Optimal AI and Almost Optimal FAI
Rotation symmetric Boolean functions (RSBFs) are nowadays studied a lot because of its easy operations and good performance in cryptosystem. This paper constructs a new class of odd-variable RSBFs with optimal algebraic immunity (AI). The nonlinearity of

This article investigates how persistent homology, persistent Laplacians, and persistent commutative algebra reveal complementary geometric, topological, and algebraic invariants or signatures of real‐world data. By analyzing shapes, synthetic complexes, fullerenes, and biomolecules, the article shows how these mathematical frameworks enhance ...

For a small closed disk $D$ in the complexplane the uniform closure $A$ in $C(D)$ of thepolynomials in $z^2$ and a second function of the form $f^2$, with $f$ behaving as $\bar z$, is considered. It has been shown before, using theory of polynomial convexity, that $A \ne C(D)$ for some choices of $f$, while for other choices of $f$ the situation $A=C(D)

Overcoming the Nyquist Limit in Molecular Hyperspectral Imaging by Reinforcement Learning
Explorative spectral acquisition guide automatically selects informative spectral bands to optimize downstream tasks, outperforming full‐spectrum acquisition. The selected hyperspectral data are used for tasks such as unmixing and segmentation. BandOptiNet encodes selection states and outputs optimal bands to guide spectral acquisition. Recent advances

This study proposes a deep learning approach to evaluate the fatigue crack behavior in metals under overload conditions. Using digital image correlation to capture the strain near crack tips, convolutional neural networks classify crack states as normal, overload, or recovery, and accurately predict fatigue parameters.

A Soft Robotic Jellyfish with Decoupled Actuators for Agile 3D Locomotion
This study presents a soft robotic jellyfish featuring a functionally decoupled actuation architecture. By separating propulsion, steering, and vertical regulation into independent modules, the robot overcomes conventional coupled‐motion limitations. Utilizing a passive‐valve‐based differential drag strategy and lateral water jets, it achieves agile 3D

Plea for Diagonals and Telescopers of Rational Functions
This paper is a plea for diagonals and telescopers of rational or algebraic functions using creative telescoping, using a computer algebra experimental mathematics learn-by-examples approach. We show that diagonals of rational functions (and this is also
