Machine Learning for Green Solvents: Assessment, Selection and Substitution
Environmental regulations have intensified demand for green solvents, but discovery is limited by Solvent Selection Guides (SSGs) that quantify solvent sustainability. Training a machine learning model on GlaxoSmithKline SSG, a database of sustainability metrics for 10,189 solvents, GreenSolventDB is developed. Integrated with Hansen solubility metrics,

An Improved String-Searching Algorithm and Its Application in Component Security Testing
Mass monitor logs are produced during the process of component security testing. In order to mine the explicit and implicit security exception information of the tested component, the log should be searched for keyword strings.

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

Combined super-/substring and super-/subsequence problems [PDF]
Super-/substring problems and super-/subsequence problems are well-known problems in stringology that have applications in a variety of areas, such as manufacturing systems design and molecular biology. Here we investigate the complexity of a new type of

The hyperactivation of PI3K/AKT signaling in PTEN wild‐type triple‐negative breast cancer represents a clinical paradox. We delineate a novel post‐translational regulatory axis wherein the oncogene TSPYL5 competitively antagonizes the deubiquitinase USP10.

Parameterized Strings: Algorithms and Applications [PDF]
The parameterized string (p-string), a generalization of the traditional string, is composed of constant and parameter symbols. A parameterized match (p-match) exists between two p-strings if the constants match exactly and there exists a bijection ...

This work proposed a pollen‐enhanced bionic mechanoreceptor based on ionic convection. Leveraging the ion anchoring effect of the pollen particle, the output performance could be ∼12 times higher than the original state. By employing deep learning models as AI brains, the feasibility of a sensory‐augmented prosthesis consisting of a pollen‐enhanced ...

Fault diagnosis of photovoltaic strings by using machine learning‐based stacking classifier
Photovoltaic (PV) modules are prone to short circuits, open circuits, cracks, which can bring serious harmful effects. It is difficult to establish the corresponding PV fault models to diagnose the status of PV strings.

An improved algorithm for approximate string matching
Given a text string, a pattern string, and an integer k, a new algorithm for finding all occurrences of the pattern string in the text string with at most k differences is presented. Both its theoretical and practical variants improve the known algorithms.
