TOXICITY OF ALIPHATIC AMINES IN UREMIA
ASAIO Journal, 1977Fifty-three samples in 26 patients were analyzed for aliphatic amines (DMA and TMA), and the levels correlated with 2 neurophysiological tests, choice reaction time (CRT), and electroencephalogram (EEG). A significant correlation was found between TMA and CRT and EEG (p less than 0.001 and 0.003, respectively) and between DMA and CRT (p less than 0.01).

Encapsulation of Aliphatic Amines Using Microfluidics
Langmuir, 2014The encapsulation of amines by emulsification and interfacial polymerization is important for smart adhesives and self-healing materials but has been challenging because of the reactive nature of amines and their wide miscibility range. In this study, we propose a new method to encapsulate amines using double-emulsion templates made in a microfluidic ...

Interaction of Aliphatic Amines with Glycogen Phosphorylase
The Journal of Biochemistry, 1982A number of aliphatic amines was shown to stimulate AMP-dependent activity of phosphorylase b. The extent of stimulation depends on the molecular structure of amines. For linear amines, the longer the linear chain, the greater the stimulation observed.

Fluorescence of aliphatic amines
Chemical Physics Letters, 1971Abstract Fluorescence of several tertiary aliphatic amines has been excited in the gas phase by absorption of 206.2 nm radiation, i.e. in the band corresponding to the A - X transition of NH3. No fluorescence was obtained from molecules having hydrogen or deuterium bonded directly to the nitrogen atom.

Remote Alkynylation of Aliphatic Amines
Organic LettersAdvancements in transition metal catalyzed C-H activation/functionalization cascades have allowed the synthetic chemist's toolbox to be significantly expanded. Despite this, protocols for the remote alkynylation of linear aliphatic amines still remain limited. Herein, a palladium-catalyzed directing-group approach to alkynylation of aliphatic amines is

REACTIONS OF DICHLOROACETYLENE WITH PRIMARY ALIPHATIC AMINES
Bulletin des Sociétés Chimiques Belges, 1995AbstractPrimary aliphatic amines are good nucleophilic reagents which easily react with dichloroacetylene (DCA). The reactions of DCA with primary aliphatic amines have been studied and a mechanism of these reactions has been proposed and discussed.

QSARs for selected aliphatic and aromatic amines
Science of The Total Environment, 1991The relative toxicity of 24 selected amines was evaluated in the 48 h Tetrahymena pyriformis static population growth impairment assay and compared with literature data for the 96 h Pimephales promelas flow-through mortality assay. Chemicals selected included normal and branched aliphatic primary amines, 4-position alkyl-substituted primary aromatic ...

Computational Studies of Aliphatic Amine Basicity
The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2002Computational studies have been used to examine the structural and energetic effects of adding small numbers of water molecules to ammonia, methylamine, dimethylamine, and trimethylamine, and their respective ammoniums ions using the effective fragment potential method.

Reaction of succinonitrile with aliphatic amines
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1973The reaction of primary amines with succinonitrile leads to the formation of N,N,N′,N′-tetrasubstituted amidines and the liberation of 2 M of NH3. The reaction of secondary amines with succinonitrile proceeds as an intramolecular condensation with the liberation of 1 M of NH3 per mole of the dinitrile and the formation of the Δ2,5−α, α ...
