ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE ACTIVITY AND SYNTHESIS OF INTESTINAL PHOSPHOLIPIDS

open access: yes, 1962
Alkaline phosphatase was investigated in small intestine of mice fed with different diets. A distinct increase of the enzyme activity after fat feeding has been shown both by cytochemical and biochemical methods. A pronounced response of Golgi localized

Engineered Carbon Dots from a Traditional Herb Pair Orchestrate Concurrent Antioxidant and AP‐1‐Mediated Inflammation to Attenuate Renal Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study integrates two complementary traditional Chinese medicine components as precursors to synthesize bioactive AM‐AS@CDs. Compared with single‐component CDs, these dual‐component CDs exhibit enhanced antioxidant capacity and superior renoprotective effects.

Kinetics of alkaline phosphatase in lake sediment associated with cage culture of Oreochromis niloticus

open access: yes, 2001
Variations in kinetics of alkaline phosphatase occurring in different sites of sediment associated with cage culture of Oreochromis niloticus in a shallow Chinese freshwater lake (Lake Donghu) were described. In addition, the kinetic parameters of each 2.

Targeting Golgi–STING Signaling to Reprogram Innate and Adaptive Immunity for the Treatment of Implant‐Associated Infections

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an ultrasound‐responsive nanoplatform, CS‐BT@MZ@NEs, with a BaTiO3/Mn‐Zif‐8 core and a chondroitin sulfate coating for Golgi targeting. By leveraging neutrophil hitchhiking, it enables targeted delivery to infection sites. Under ultrasound stimulation, CS‐BT@MZ@NEs generates ROS and modulates Golgi pH to activate cGAS–STING ...

Discharges and sediments as sources of extracellular alkaline phosphatase in a shallow Chinese eutrophic lake

open access: yes, 2004
Total alkaline phosphatase activity (APA) and soluble reactive phosphorus (SRP) concentrations were measured in municipal wastewater, and a shallow Chinese freshwater lake receiving it.

Orchestrated Engineered Polyphenol‐Peptide Condensates Coupled With β‐GP Reverses Diabetic Osteoporosis by Remodeling Mitophagy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional β‐GP@EGCG‐E7 nanoplatform is engineered by polyphenol–peptide condensation and phosphate loading. Bone‐targeted delivery, antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory activity, and mitophagy restoration are integrated in one system, enabling protection of osteoblasts and endothelial cells and promoting bone regeneration under diabetic ...

Activity, kinetics and spatial variation of dissolved alkaline phosphatase in Lake Donghu

open access: yes, 1997
The extra cellular enzyme activities in aquatic environments are of monitoring significance. Dissolved alkaline phosphatase activities (APA-Diss) at the littoral outfalls, which receive the domestic waste water were significantly higher than those in ...

‘Superactivation’ of alkaline phosphatase activity by cycloheximide in rat hepatoma cell cultures

open access: yes, 1984
We have found that rat hepatoma cells (R-Y121B) retain alkaline phosphatase activity, and that this enzyme activity is increased by cycloheximide. Actinomycin D also increased the enzyme activity.
