3,6-Dibromo-9-(4-chlorobenzyl)-9H-carbazole
The title compound, C19H12Br2ClN, was synthesized by N-alkylation of 1-chloro-4-(chloromethyl)benzene with 3,6-dibromo-9H-carbazole. The carbazole ring system is essentially planar (mean deviation of 0.028 Å) and makes a dihedral angle of 74.6&

Enhancement of Dissymmetry Factors Through Axial Elongation of Hetero[n]helicenes
A benzofuran scaffolding strategy enables the synthesis of hetero[9]‐, [12]‐, and [15]helicenes. Structural and chiroptical analyses demonstrate that systematic axial elongation increases helical distortion and significantly amplifies luminescence dissymmetry.

Chiral Fjord‐Edged Nanographenes Constructed by Allylic‐Migration‐Mediated Cyclization
A novel allylic‐migration‐mediated cyclization strategy enables the construction of two fjord‐edged nanographenes without steric blocking groups. The resulting non‐planar molecules exhibit remarkable chiroptical properties, with an absorption dissymmetry factor surpassing those of pristine [5]helicene and previously reported fjord‐edged nanographenes ...

The Use of C2–C5 Hydrocarbons for Production of Gasoline Components
A conversion of light hydrocarbons (C2–C5) over HZSM-zeolite-containing catalysts modified by the VA Group metals was studied. The process was carried out in a flow reactor at varying temperature from 350 to 400 °C, pressure – 0.1-0.5 MPa and space ...

Orchestrating Anion–π+ Interactions to Accelerate Metal‐Free Room‐Temperature Phosphorescence
Tuning anion–π+ interactions in pyridinium iodide contact ion pairs enables ultrafast metal‐free room‐temperature phosphorescence (540–605 nm) with radiative rates up to 5.2×105 s−1. Strong iodide→π+ charge‐transfer coupling, enhanced spin–orbit interactions, and dynamic ion‐pair organization accelerate intersystem crossing and emission, establishing ...

An iron‐photocatalyzed unsymmetrical 1,2‐hetero(atom)difunctionalization of alkenes enables to install orthogonal C–Cl and C–O (alkoxyamine) handles which provides access to diverse nucleophiles via complementary reactivity (SN and photoredox) at two distinct sites. Detailed mechanistic studies elucidate interesting features of the iron catalytic cycle.
