All-solid-state self-mode locking of a Nd:YLF laser
Optics Letters, 1994An all-solid-state, Kerr-lens mode-locked Nd:YLF laser is reported that uses a simple X-fold cavity with separate gain and nonlinear media. Self-starting pulses of 3 ps are reported at 1.047 microm with significant enhancements in stability and starting behavior over previous Kerr-lens mode-locked Nd:YLF lasers.

All-solid-state self-mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser
Optics Letters, 1994An all-solid-state self-mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser is described. This laser was pumped by a diode-laser-pumped intracavity-frequency-doubled cw Nd:YLF minilaser and produced femtosecond pulses for pump powers as low as 500 mW.

All-solid-state actively mode-locked Cr:LiSAF laser
Optics Letters, 1994We have demonstrated an actively mode-locked Cr:LiSAF laser pumped by 659-nm radiation from an intracavity frequency-doubled diode-pumped Nd:YLF laser. The laser was tunable from 815 to 915 nm, and pulses of 30-ps duration at an average power of 3.5 mW were generated.

All-Solid-State Cr:LiSAF Femtosecond Lasers
1999Two types of all-solid-state Cr:LiSAF femtosecond lasers are demonstrated. One laser aims at generation of ultrashort pulses. Transform-limited 30-fs pulses were generated from this diode-pumped, Kerr-lens mode-locked laser with a time-bandwidth product of 0.32 by using a wide gain bandwidth of the Cr:LiSAF crystal.

All-solid-state diode-pumped eyesafe lasers
SPIE Proceedings, 1992An eyesafe source at 1.61 J.UD with 2.1 % wallplug efficiency, is demonstrated using a Nd:YAG pumped KTP optical parametric oscillator with total peak-power conversion efficiency of 70% and an energy conversion efficiency of 47 % to 1.61 J.UD or 30% to l.54J.UD.
