The Mukinbudin area, Western Australia, comprises a pegmatite field with pegmatite bodies classified as NYF-type [1]. Allanite-(Ce) has been found in Mukinbudin Feldspar Quarries in form of metamict masses. The allanite masses are round-shaped being up to tens of centimeters in diameter and show no distinct crystal faces.

Allanite-(Ce) and epidotes in a feldspar deposit from Central Sardinia, Italy
1993Epidotes occur in albitites as light rare-earth element (LREE)-bearing accessory common phases.Chemical data suggest that there is a near complete solid-solution between epidote and allanite. In epidote-group minerals a pronounced zoning in REE was observed.

Recent investigations have pointed out that epidotes and allanite-(Ce) are the main REE-bearing minerals in the albitites located in the granodiorite facies of Central Sardinia. Previous works on albitites hypothesize that they originated from Na and Mg-metasomatic alteration of granitoids.
