Truffles Allelopathy

Truffles (Tuber sp.) are the underground ectomycorrhizal fungi associated with numerous trees and shrubs. They produce metabolites, which interacts with plants. More than 200 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and many non-volatile compounds have been identified from various truffles.
