ALMOST SCHOUTEN SOLITONS ON N $N(\kappa)$-CONTACT METRIC MANIFOLDS

open access: yes
In the current paper, we have studied almost Schouten solitons and gradient Schouten solitons on an $N(\kappa)$-Contact metric manifold of dimension $(2n+1)$.

Almost Ricci-Yamabe Soliton on Contact Metric Manifolds

open access: yes, 2022
We consider almost Ricci-Yamabe soliton in the context of certain contact metric manifolds. Firstly, we prove that if the metric $g$ admits an almost $(\alpha,\beta)$-Ricci-Yamabe soliton with $\alpha\neq 0$ and potential vector field collinear with the ...

All‐Solution‐Processed HgTe Quantum Dot Photodetectors for Extended Short‐Wavelength Infrared Range Enhanced by Plasmonic ITO Nanocrystals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
All‐solution‐processed, low‐cost extended short‐wavelength infrared photodetectors are realized by coupling colloidal HgTe quantum dots to plasmonic In2O3:Sn,F nanocrystals. Localized surface plasmon resonances boost and spectrally tailor light absorption between 1500 and 3000 nm, enabling responsivities above 40 A W−1.

A note about almost contact metric hypersurfaces axioms for almost Hermitian manifolds

open access: yes
From 1950s, it is known that an almost contact metric structure is induced on an arbitrary oriented hypersurface in an almost Hermitian manifold. In accordance with the definition, an almost Hermitian manifold satisfies the axiom of almost contact ...

On the harmonicity of normal almost contact metric structures

open access: yes, 2023
We consider normal almost contact structures on a Riemannian manifold and, through their associated sections of an ad-hoc twistor bundle, study their harmonicity, as sections or as maps.

A Fully Human Engineered Bone Niche With Endogenous Osteoclastogenesis Reveals Osteoclast‐Dependent Osteomimicry in Prostate Cancer Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A human 3D bone niche integrating osteoblasts and osteoclasts enables co‐culture with prostate cancer cell lines and patient‐derived organoids. The engineered niche (i) models aspects of reciprocal phenotypic regulation between osteoblasts and cancer cells, (ii) captures osteoclast‐enhanced osteomimicry in tumor cells, and (iii) establishes a ...

Matrix Lie groups as 3-dimensional almost contact B-metric manifolds

open access: yes, 2015
The object of investigation are Lie groups considered as almost contact B-metric manifolds of the lowest dimension three. It is established a correspondence of all basic-class-manifolds of the Ganchev-Mihova-Gribachev classification of the studied manifolds and the explicit matrix representation of Lie groups.

Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in Bionanotechnology: Current Advances and Future Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) enables the nanoscale mapping of electrostatic surface potentials. While widely applied in materials science, its use in biological systems remains emerging. This review presents recent advances in KPFM applied to biological samples and provides a critical perspective on current limitations and future directions for

Almost contact B-metric manifolds as extensions of a 2-dimensional space-form

open access: yes, 2015
The object of investigations are almost contact B-metric manifolds which are derived as a product of a real line and a 2-dimensional manifold equipped with a complex structure and a Norden metric. There are used two different methods for generation of the B-metric on the product manifold.

Spin and Charge Control of Topological End States in Chiral Graphene Nanoribbons on a 2D Ferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Chiral graphene nanoribbons on a ferromagnetic gadolinium‐gold surface alloy display tunable spin and charge states at their termini. Atomic work function variations and exchange fields enabe transitions between singlet, doublet, and triplet configurations.
