Every almost continuous funciton is polygonally almost continuous [PDF]
We show that every almost continuous function f: I -> R is also polygonally almost continuous. This solves a problem posed by Agronski, Ceder and Pearson (see [ACP]).

On continuous and almost continuous multifunctions
1996This is a `correction' to the authors' paper with the same title [ibid. 30, No. 3, 156-159 (1996; Zbl 0908.54016)]: the authors offer new proofs for Theorem 1, Lemma 3, and Theorem 2.

Let \(E\) and \(F\) be Hausdorff spaces. A mapping \(f: E \rightarrow F\) is said to be almost continuous at \(x \in E\) if for each neighbourhood \(V\) of \(f(x)\), \(\overline{f^{-1}(V)}\) is a neighbourhood of \(x\). If \(v\) denotes the topology of \(F\), another topology denoted \(v^*\) can be determined on \(F\) as follows: let \( \left\{V_{y ...

A function f:X\(\to Y\) is called s-continuous (resp. almost s-continuous) if for each point \(x\in X\) and each open (resp. regular open) set V containing f(x) and having connected complement there is an open set U containing x such that f(U)\(\subset V\).

Almost \(\gamma\)-continuous functions
1992Summary: A new class of functions, called `almost \(\gamma\)-continuous' is introduced and several of their properties are investigated. This new class is utilized to improve some already published results concerning weak continuity [\textit{N. Levine}, Am. Math. Mon.
