Weak enforcement of interface continuity and generalized periodicity in high‐order electromechanical problems [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 2021
AbstractWe present a formulation for the weak enforcement of continuity conditions at material interfaces in high‐order problems by means of Nitsche's method, which is particularly suited for unfitted discretizations. This formulation is extended to impose generalized periodicity conditions at the unit cell boundaries of periodic structures.

Weak Hölder Continuity of the Generalized Hamiltonian Flow

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1996
Let \(M\) be a symplectic manifold with smooth boundary \(\partial M\) and \(F_t\) a generalized Hamiltonian flow generated by a smooth function. The author proves the weak Hölder continuity of the generalized Hamitonian flow \(F_t\).

Generalized Convergence for Multi-Step Schemes under Weak Conditions

open access: yesMathematics
We have developed a local convergence analysis for a general scheme of high-order convergence, aiming to solve equations in Banach spaces. A priori estimates are developed based on the error distances.

Generalized Fractional Integral Operators on Generalized Local Morrey Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2015
We study the continuity properties of the generalized fractional integral operator Iρ on the generalized local Morrey spaces LMp,φ{x0} and generalized Morrey spaces Mp,φ. We find conditions on the triple (φ1,φ2,ρ) which ensure the Spanne-type boundedness

Weakly continuous functions on mixed fuzzy topological spaces

open access: yesActa Scientiarum: Technology, 2014
The notions of continuity was generalized in the fuzzy setting by Chang (1968). Later on Azad (1981) introduced some weaker form of fuzzy continuity like fuzzy almost continuity, fuzzy semi-continuity and fuzzy weak continuity.

Categories of Open Sets in Generalized Primal Topological Spaces

open access: yesMathematics
In this research article, we define some categories of open sets over a generalized topological space given together with a primal collection. In addition, we clarify some of its characteristics and investigate the relationships between these concepts in

Prevalence and associated factors of fear of childbirth among pregnant women in Saudi Arabia [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychiatry
BackgroundFear of childbirth (FOC) is a common concern among pregnant women and can significantly impact maternal and fetal well-being. This study estimates the prevalence of childbirth fear, its determinants and correlation with depression and anxiety ...

A Generalized Henry-Type Integral Inequality and Application to Dependence on Orders and Known Functions for a Fractional Differential Equation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We discuss on integrable solutions for a generalized Henry-type integral inequality in which weak singularity and delays are involved. Not requiring continuity or differentiability for some given functions, we use a modified iteration argument to give an

Boundedness and Hölder continuity of weak solutions of the nonlinear boundary-value problem for elliptic equations with general nonstandard growth conditions

open access: yesMathematica Bohemica
Summary: We study a nonlinear boundary-value problem for elliptic equations with critical growth conditions involving Lebesgue measurable functions. We prove global boundedness and Hölder continuity of weak solutions for this problem. Our results generalize the ones obtained by P. Winkert and his colleagues (2012) not only in the variable exponent case
