On Almost β-Continuous Functions
Acta Mathematica Hungarica, 1998A subset \(A\) of a topological space \(X\) is called \(\beta\)-open if \(A\subset \text{Cl}(\text{Int}(\text{Cl}(A)))\). A function \(f:X\to Y\) is called almost \(\beta\)-continuous at \(x\in X\) if for every open neighbourhood \(V\) of \(f(x)\) there exists a \(\beta\)-open set \(U\) containing \(x\) such that \(f(U)\subset \text{Int} (\text{Cl}(V))\

Some properties of almostS-continuous functions
Rendiconti del Circolo Matematico di Palermo, 1999Let \((X,\tau)\) be a topological space. A subset \(A\) of \(X\) is said to be semi-open (resp. \(\alpha\)-open) if \(A\subset \text{Cl(Int} (A))\) (resp. \(A\subset \text{Int(Cl(Int} (A)))\)). The complement of a semi-open (resp. \(\alpha\)-open) set is called semi-closed (resp. \(\alpha\)-closed). The intersection of all semi-closed (resp. \(\alpha\)-

On fuzzy almost continuous functions
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1991The authors extend the ideas of \(\delta\)-open set, \(\delta\)-closed set, \(\delta\)-adherent point of a set and \(\delta\)-closure of a set, as introduced by \textit{Velicko}, in fuzzy setting; the authors also introduce several related characterizations of fuzzy almost continuous functions.

A function f:X\(\to Y\) is called s-continuous (resp. almost s-continuous) if for each point \(x\in X\) and each open (resp. regular open) set V containing f(x) and having connected complement there is an open set U containing x such that f(U)\(\subset V\).

Almost \(\gamma\)-continuous functions
1992Summary: A new class of functions, called `almost \(\gamma\)-continuous' is introduced and several of their properties are investigated. This new class is utilized to improve some already published results concerning weak continuity [\textit{N. Levine}, Am. Math. Mon.

Taimanov's theorem for almost-continuous functions
1993Summary: In relation to \textit{N. Veličko's} theorems on \(\vartheta\)-continuous functions [Am. Math. Soc. Transl., II. Ser. 92, 41-47 (1970); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 6, 64-69 (1965; Zbl 0137.422)], we investigate \textit{A. D. Taimanov's} theorem [Mat. Sb., N. Ser.
