Computation of H-infinity norm of linear discrete-time periodic systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We propose an efficient an numerically reliable procedure for the computation of H-infinity norm of discrete-time linear periodic systems. The new procedure is general being applicable to both standard as well as descriptor periodic systems with time ...

Asymptotically almost periodic and almost periodic solutions for a class of evolution equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2004
In this paper we study the existence of asymptotically almost periodic and almost periodic solutions for the partial evolution equation $$ frac{d}{dt} (x(t)+g(t,x(t))=Ax(t)+f(t,Bx(t)), $$ where $A$ is the infinitesimal generator of an analytic semigroup ...

Almost periodic solutions for Abel equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1997
Using the Liapunov function method, the existence of almost periodic solutions of a scalar differential equation is discussed The results for the scalar differential equation are then applied to prove the existence and stability of almost periodic ...

Discontinuous generalized double-almost-periodic functions on almost-complete-closed time scales

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2019
In this paper, we introduce the concept of almost-complete-closed time scales (ACCTS) that allows independent variables of functions to possess almost-periodicity under translations.

Impact of Metastatic Patterns on Survival and Response to Therapy in Neuroblastoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background While the presence of metastases in neuroblastoma (NB) is a well‐established prognostic factor, the clinical significance of dissemination patterns and tumour burden and their impact on response and survival remains poorly understood.

Existence of pseudo almost periodic solutions for a class of partial functional differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2013
In this paper, we first introduce a new class of pseudo almost periodic type functions and investigate some properties of pseudo almost periodic type functions; and then we discuss the existence of pseudo almost periodic solutions to the class of ...

Existence of bounded solutions for retarded equations with infinite delay, impulses, and nonlocal condition

open access: yesNOVASINERGIA, 2020
In this work, we study the existence of bounded solutions for a semilinear retarded equation with infinite delay, impulse, and non-local conditions. We also show that under some conditions this bounded solution is unique, periodic, or almost periodic ...

Existence and Stability of Almost Periodic Solutions in Almost Periodic Systems

open access: yesPublications of the Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, 1976
where x$ are real, k is a positive integer and a^(f) are almost periodic functions of t. Under some conditions on ##(£), Theorem 1 shows that the trivial solution of the first approximation of system (1-1) is uniformly asymptotically stable in a subspace IT of R (see Definition 2) .

Almost periodicity of solutions for almost periodic evolution equations

open access: yesDifferential and Integral Equations, 2005
In this paper, we discuss almost periodicity of solutions for evolution equations in Banach space. We introduce the concept of difference-variation equation. For a special Hilbert space, we establish some results on almost periodicity of all solutions for evolution equations. In particular, we extend Haraux's result on $R^2$ to $R^n.$

Weakly almost periodic flows [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1989
The notion of the enveloping semigroup of a flow is applied to some situations in ergodic theory. In particular, weakly almost periodic functions on groups are studied and Moore’s ergodic theorem is proved.
