Left almost periodicity does not imply right almost periodicity [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the American Mathematical Society, 1966
Left almost periodic function defined on topological group G is not necessarily right almost periodic even if g is Lie ...

Almost Periodic Solutions for a Certain Class of Almost Periodic Systems [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1982
Using a result due to Medvedev [3], we obtain conditions under which systems of ordinary differential equations of the form x ′ = F ( t , x , x ) + G ( t , x ) x’ = F(t,x,x) + G(t,x) where F ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Characterizations of vector-valued weakly almost periodic functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2003
We characterize the weak almost periodicity of a vector-valued, bounded, continuous function. We show that if the range of the function is relatively weakly compact, then the relative weak compactness of its right orbit is equivalent to that of its left ...

Almost periodic solutions of $N$-th order neutral differential difference equations with piecewise constant arguments

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2013
In this paper, we study the existence of almost periodic solutions of neutral differential difference equations with piecewise constant arguments via difference equation methods.

On Almost Periodic Solutions for Undamped Systems with Almost Periodic Forcing [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1972
Using the method of averaging, we give sufficient conditions for the existence of an almost periodic solution of an undamped oscillatory system with almost periodic forcing, and show that these can be applied to a Duffing equation with almost periodic forcing provided the nonlinear term is sufficiently small, and the natural frequency of the linear ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Existence of generalized almost periodic and asymptotic almost periodic solutions to abstract Volterra integro-differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
The main aim of this paper is to study the asymptotic almost periodicity, Stepanov almost periodicity, and asymptotic Stepanov almost periodicity of various classes of regularized solution operator families appearing in the theory of abstract Volterra

Pseudo Almost Periodic Sequence Solutions of Discrete Time Cellular Neural Networks

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2009
In this paper we discuss the existence and uniqueness of a k-pseudo almost periodic sequence solutions of a discrete time neural network. We give several sufficient conditions for the exponential and global attractivity of the solution.

Revisiting Mission‐Oriented Cancer Research to tackle the increasing burden of cancer in Europe–a policy perspective

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Translational cancer research and its implementation through competitively selected Comprehensive Cancer Centers across Europe should be the primary policy focus for addressing the increasing cancer burden in Europe and counteract the present main strategy to convert cancer to a chronic disease.
