The existence of almost periodic solutions of certain perturbation systems [PDF]
Certain almost periodic perturbation systems are considered in this paper. By using the roughness theory of exponential dichotomies and the contraction mapping principle, some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence and uniqueness of almost ...

A non-autonomous impulsive food-chain model with delays
A non-autonomous almost periodic prey–predator system with impulsive effects and multiple delays is proposed in this paper, Holling’s type-IV systems and ratio-dependent functional responses are also involved in the model.

ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

Dynamical Systems and Traveling Waves in Almost Periodic Structures [PDF]
The paper is devoted to the study of traveling waves in almost periodic structures by applying dynamical system theory. Motivated by the fact that almost automorphic dynamics often exists (though almost periodic dynamics may not) in scalar almost ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Existence of Unique and Global Asymptotically Stable Almost Periodic Solution of a Discrete Predator-Prey System with Beddington-DeAngelis Functional Response and Density Dependent [PDF]
The main concern of this paper is to study the dynamics of a discrete predator-prey system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response and density dependent predator, assuming that the coecients involved in the system are almost periodic.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Almost periodic solutions of monotone second-order differential equations [PDF]
International audienceWe give sufficient conditions for the existence of almost periodic solutions of the following second-order differential equation: u′′(t) = f(u(t)) + e(t) on a Hilbert space H, where the vector field f : H −→ H is monotone ...
