A non-autonomous impulsive food-chain model with delays

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
A non-autonomous almost periodic prey–predator system with impulsive effects and multiple delays is proposed in this paper, Holling’s type-IV systems and ratio-dependent functional responses are also involved in the model.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

On reducibility of Quantum Harmonic Oscillator on $\mathbb{R}^d$ with quasiperiodic in time potential

open access: yes, 2016
We prove that a linear d-dimensional Schr{\"o}dinger equation on $\mathbb{R}^d$ with harmonic potential $|x|^2$ and small t-quasiperiodic potential $i\partial\_t u -- \Delta u + |x|^2 u + \epsilon V (t\omega, x)u = 0, x \in \mathbb{R}^d$ reduces to an ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Revisiting Mission‐Oriented Cancer Research to tackle the increasing burden of cancer in Europe–a policy perspective

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Translational cancer research and its implementation through competitively selected Comprehensive Cancer Centers across Europe should be the primary policy focus for addressing the increasing cancer burden in Europe and counteract the present main strategy to convert cancer to a chronic disease.

On nth-order differential operators with Bohr-Neugebauer type property

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1987
Suppose B is a bounded linear operator in a Banach space. If the differential operator dndtn−B has a Bohr-Neugebauer type property for Bochner almost periodic functions, then, for any Stepanov almost periodic continuous function g(t) and any Stepanov ...

New results on positive almost periodic solutions for first-order neutral differential equations

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2018
In this paper, a class of first-order neutral differential equations with time-varying delays and coefficients is considered. Some results on the existence of positive almost periodic solutions for the equations are obtained by using the contracting ...

Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Robust Almost Periodic Dynamics for Interval Neural Networks with Mixed Time-Varying Delays and Discontinuous Activation Functions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
The robust almost periodic dynamical behavior is investigated for interval neural networks with mixed time-varying delays and discontinuous activation functions.

Almost Periodicity of Mild Solutions of Inhomogeneous Periodic Cauchy Problems

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 1999
The authors consider a mild solution \(u\) to the well-posed inhomogeneous Cauchy problem \[ u'(t)= A(t)u(t)+ f(t), \] on a Banach space \(X\), where \(A(\cdot)\) is periodic. For a problem on \(\mathbb{R}_+\) the authors show that \(u\) is asymptotically almost-periodic if \(f\) is asymptotically almost-periodic, \(u\) is bounded, uniformly continuous
