Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

Pulsed Nanoelectrospray Ionization Boosts Ion Signal in Whole Protein Mass Spectrometry
Electrospray ionisation (ESI) is renowned for its ability to ionise intact proteins for sensitive detection by mass spectrometry (MS). However, the use of a conventional direct current ESI voltage can result in the formation of relatively large initial ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
