Fabrication Routes for Ionic Conducting Fiber Strain Sensors
Ionic conducting fiber strain sensors (ICFSs) offer compliant, textile‐integrable sensing. Thus far, the commercialization of ICFSs has been constrained by fiber fabrication routes. This review provides a fabrication‐centric analysis of ICFSs correlating processing strategies with material properties and scalability.

A Globally Optimal Alternative to MLP
In deep learning, achieving the global minimum poses a significant challenge, even for relatively simple architectures such as Multi-Layer Perceptrons (MLPs). To address this challenge, we visualized model states at both local and global optima, thereby identifying the factors that impede the transition of models from local to global minima when ...

HEA interlayers offer a versatile route for joining high‐performance structural materials. Their compositional and structural design regulates interfacial reactions, suppresses brittle IMCs, and improves metallurgical bonding. Sandwich interlayers further integrate defect healing with precipitation strengthening, enabling improved strength–ductility ...

New Alternatives to Optimize Policy Classifiers
Growing expressiveness of services increases the size of a manageable state at the network data plane. A service policy is an ordered set of classification patterns (classes) with actions; the same class can appear in multiple policies. Previous studies mostly concentrated on efficient representations of a single policy instance. In this work, we study

FastNano Liquid: An Automated Platform for Small‐Angle X‐ray Scattering‐Based Materials Discovery
We present FastNano Liquid, an automated small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering platform for the combined synthesis and characterization of (nano)materials. The platform is coupled to varied reactor workflows for both in situ studies of reaction kinetics and ex situ screening of synthesis conditions to support machine learning‐guided exploration ...

Passive Motion Paradigm: An Alternative to Optimal Control [PDF]
IN THE LAST YEARS, OPTIMAL CONTROL THEORY (OCT) HAS EMERGED AS THE LEADING APPROACH FOR INVESTIGATING NEURAL CONTROL OF MOVEMENT AND MOTOR COGNITION FOR TWO COMPLEMENTARY RESEARCH LINES: behavioral neuroscience and humanoid robotics. In both cases, there are general problems that need to be addressed, such as the "degrees of freedom (DoFs) problem ...
