Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Modeling The Physicochemical Characteristics of Benzene Compounds Through the Application of Zagreb Omicron Indices

open access: yesCumhuriyet Science Journal
The examination of quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) paradigms uses topological indices to explain the chemical and physical properties of molecular entities. In the current study, the analysis primarily focused on the omicron degree of

Alternative Methods of Increasing the Precision of Weighted Repeat Sales House Prices Indices* [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Weighted repeat sales house price indices have become one of the primary indicators used to identify housing market conditions and to estimate the amount of equity homeowners have gained through house price appreciation.

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

The value-added of investable hedge fund indices [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper empirically investigates the risk and performance of three types of alternative beta products over the January 2002 to September 2009 time period: funds of hedge funds (FHFs), investable hedge fund indices (IHFIs), and hedge fund replication ...

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Sensitivity Analysis of CO2 Emitted in Clinker and Cement Production

open access: yesComputation
This study performs a sensitivity analysis of CO2 emissions from clinker and cement production using life cycle assessment (LCA). Both local and global sensitivity analyses (LSA and GSA) are conducted. LSA uses outputs from the GCCA EPD tool—developed by
