Revision of the Palearctic Chaetocnema Species (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae: Alticini)
Seventy five Palearctic Chaetocnema species are revised. Seven new species are described: C. belka, Ch. bergeali, C. eastafghanica, C. franzi, C. igori, C. lubischevi, and C. tbilisiensis. The following nine synonymies are proposed: Biodontocnema Biondi 2000 = Chaetocnema Stephens 1831; C. altisocia Chen & Wang 1981 = C.

The flea beetle genus TegyriusJacoby, 1887 (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) associated with Piperaceae is revised. Eight new species, namely Tegyrius agasthyai sp. nov., Tegyrius dalei sp. nov., Tegyrius nigrotibialis sp. nov., Tegyrius pucetibialis sp. nov., Tegyrius radhikae sp. nov., and Tegyrius tippui sp. nov., from India, and Tegyrius anupama sp. nov.

Galerucinae is one of the most species-rich leaf beetle group with its greatest diversity occurring in tropical forests. There are 1680 nominal species of Afrotropical Galerucinae s. str. (without Alticini) described.

Minimising insect mortality during grassland mowing: The potential of insect chasing devices
Insect chasing devices have a great potential to deter arthropods prior to mowing, thereby reducing mortality. The effectiveness of mechanical flushing bars is limited and depends on driving speed, vegetation structure and species composition. The blowing device is the most independent of external factors and therefore the most effective.

Secondary Sexual Characteristics in the Galerucinae (Sensu Stricto) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)
A list of 1298 species and 172 genera of Chrysomelidae from the subfamily Galerucinae (sensu stricto) with the males having at least one form of secondary sexual characteristic (SSC) is presented. The number of species amounts to 24% of the total Galerucinae presently known from all over the world—a very significant amount.

Longitarsus ferruginipennis Fuente 1910 was described from Ciudad Real, Spain. Later, it was regarded a senior synonym of L. seticollis Mohr 1962. No other information about this species is available.

The cabbage stem flea beetle (Psylliodes chrysocephala) is an important pest of oilseed rape (Brassica napus) in Europe. Penghou, a new genus of flea beetles from China (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae: Alticini)
A new genus (Penghou) with a single new species (P. yulongshan) from Yunnan Province in China is described and illustrated. It is compared to Hespera Weise, Hesperomorpha Ogloblin, Laotzeus Chen, Luperomorpha Weise, Mandarella Duvivier, Omeiana Chen, Stenoluperus Ogloblin and Taiwanohespera Kimoto.
