One-pot synthesis of β-amino carbonyl compounds under solvent free condition by using alum doped nanopolyaniline catalyst

Polymer, 2021
Abstract Alum doped nanopolyaniline (NDPANI), an efficient and reusable green catalyst for synthesis of β-amino carbonyl compounds has been developed. Mannich type reaction of various amines, aldehydes and ketones is carried out to synthesize the desire β-amino carbonyl compounds with excellent yield under solvent free condition.

Removal of individual off-flavour compounds in water during artificial groundwater recharge and during treatment by alum coagulation/sand filtration

Water Research, 1987
Abstract The removal of individual off-flavour compounds during artificial groundwater recharge has been compared to the removal of such compounds during conventional alum coagulation/sand filtration. By using an evaluation technique based on gas chromatography with both instrumental and sensory detection (“column sniffing”) it was shown that alum ...

The Gallocyanin-Chrome Alum Stain; Influence of Methods of Preparation on Its Activity and Separation of Active Staining Compound

Stain Technology, 1966
A dye, which is probably a cationic chelate, has been separated from a gallocyanin-chrome alum staining solution and prepared in the dry form. This dye is apparently the major staining compound. To prepare the chelate or dye, dissolve 150 mg of gallocyanin and 15 gm of chrome alum in 100 ml of distilled water and boil for 10-20 min, cool, filter, wash ...

Theoretical investigations of the spin Hamiltonian parameters and local angular variations for the trigonal V3+ centers in alum compounds

Physics and Chemistry of Minerals, 2013
The spin Hamiltonian parameters (zero-field splittings D, g factors g // and g ⊥) for V3+ in the alum compounds are theoretically studied using the perturbation formulas for these parameters for a 3d2 ion in the trigonally distorted octahedra.
