Aluminum compounds as vaccine adjuvants
Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, 1998Aluminum compounds are the only adjuvants used widely with routine human vaccines and are the most common adjuvants in veterinary vaccines also. Though there has been a search for alternate adjuvants, aluminum adjuvants will continue to be used for many years due to their good track record of safety, low cost and adjuvanticity with a variety of ...

Coordination compounds of aluminum as precursors to aluminum nitride
Coordination Chemistry Reviews, 1993Abstract Two different systems have been examined as potential sources of aluminum nitride, an important electronic and structural ceramic material. Cyclic organoaluminum amides obtained as intermediates in the thermolysis of trialkylaluminum : ammonia Lewis acid-base complexes have been used to obtain AlN powder and as precursors for the chemical ...

Anhydrous Aluminum Carbonates and Isostructural Compounds
Inorganic Chemistry, 2023We synthesized the inorganic anhydrous aluminum carbonates Al2[C2O5][CO3]2 and Al2[CO3]3 by reacting Al2O3 with CO2 at high pressures and temperatures and characterized them by Raman spectroscopy. Their structures were solved by X-ray diffraction. Al2[CO3]3 forms at around 24-28 GPa, while Al2[C2O5][CO3]2 forms above 38(3) GPa.

A Stable Neutral Compound with an Aluminum–Aluminum Double Bond
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2017Homodinuclear multiple-bonded neutral Al compounds, aluminum analogues of alkenes, have been a notoriously difficult synthetic target over the past several decades. Herein, we report the isolation of a stable neutral compound featuring an Al═Al double bond stabilized by N-heterocyclic carbenes.

1,3-Diaryltriazenido compounds of aluminum
Inorganic Chemistry, 1993Reaction of AlH( i Bu) 2 with 1 and 2 equiv of 1,3-diphenyltriazene, (Ph)NNN(H)(Ph), yields Al( i Bu) 2 [N(Ph)NN(Ph)] (1) Al( i Bu)[N(Ph)NN(Ph)] 2 (2), respectively. Compound 2 undergoes ligand exchange in solution to give an equimolar mixture of 1 and Al[N(Ph)NN(Ph)] 3 . The reaction of Al[ t Bu) 3 with (Ph)NNN(H)(Ph) gives Al( t Bu) 2 [N(Ph)NN(Ph)]

Neptunium-Aluminum Intermetallic Compounds
JOM, 1953The intermetallic compounds NpAI2, NpAI3, and NpAI4 have been prepared, and examined by X-ray diffraction methods. The compounds are isostructural with the corresponding U-AI compounds. NpAI2 is face-centered cubic with a = 7.785A and has the MgCu2 structure. NpAI3 is simple cubic with a = 4.262A and has the AuCu3 structure.
