European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2004 AbstractThe methylated compounds [(AlMe)6(AlNMe3)2(CCH2Ph)6] (4), [(AlMe)6(AlNMe3)2(CCH2CH2SiMe3)6] (5) and [(AlMe)6(NCH2C4H3S)6] (6) were synthesized in good yields from the corresponding hydride derivatives by treatment with AlMe3 in toluene. The X‐ray single crystal structures of 4·xC7H8, 4·4C7H8 and 6 were determined.
