Ultra‐Strong, Fire‐Resistant and Eco‐Friendly Bamboo Composites Based on Cell Wall Polymer Decoration Engineering

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Modification of bamboo cell walls using chemical in‐situ bonding was carried out, while optimizing the arrangement of bamboo fibers. Additionally, an N‐P‐B flame retardant system was formed within the bamboo material to develop an ultra‐strong flame retardant bamboo‐based composite.

Sustainable Solid Polymer Electrolytes Based on NaCMC‐PVA Blends for Energy Storage Applications: Electrical and Electrochemical Insights with Application to Electric Double‐Layer Capacitors

open access: yesEnergy Technology, EarlyView.
A novel biopolymer electrolyte using sodium carboxymethyl cellulose/polyvinyl alcohol and NaPF6 enhances ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability for electric double‐layer capacitors. Conductivity peaks at 35 wt% salt before declining due to ion clustering. Structural and electrochemical analyses confirm promising device performance.

Self‐Guided Psychological Interventions for the Treatment and Prevention of Eating Disorders: A Meta‐Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

open access: yesEuropean Eating Disorders Review, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Self‐guided interventions may broaden the dissemination of evidence‐based prevention and treatment protocols for eating disorders. We conducted a meta‐analysis comparing self‐guided prevention and treatment approaches for eating disorders to (1) control groups and (2) professionally guided self‐help programs.

Hyperbolic groups that are not commensurably coHopfian

open access: yes, 2020
Sela proved every torsion-free one-ended hyperbolic group is coHopfian. We prove that there exist torsion-free one-ended hyperbolic groups that are not commensurably coHopfian.
