Physical Layer Security of Two‐Way Ambient Backscatter Communication Systems
Achieving high network traffic demand in limited spectrum resources is a technical challenge for the beyond 5G and 6G communication systems. To this end, ambient backscatter communication (AmBC) is proposed for Internet‐of‐Things (IoT), because the backscatter device (BD) can realize communication without occupying extra spectrum resources.

Capacity Analysis for Tunnel Diode Amplifier Assisted Ambient Backscatter Communications
Ambient backscatter communication (AmBC) addresses connectivity, cost, and congestion bottlenecks for the Internet of Things (IoT) deployment. AmBC, by avoiding a dedicated power infrastructure and carrier emitter, allows tags to communicate by simply ...

In this paper, we consider a novel Internet of Things (IoT) system in smart city called unmanned aerial vehicle‐ (UAV‐) assisted cognitive backscatter network, where a UAV is employed as both a relay and a radio frequency source to help the data transmission between ground IoT backscatter devices (BDs) and a remote data center (DC).

Outage probability computation in multi-backscatter systems with multi-modes of operation [PDF]
In this article, we study the outage performance of an ambient multi-backscatter system supported by non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) downlink transmission, where legacy users receive information either directly from the base station (BS) or from ...

Interference Analysis of Bi-static Backscatter Communication System: Two Backscatter Devices [PDF]
Ambient backscatter communication (AmBC) systems utilize existing ambient radio frequency (RF) signals to establish an indirect communication link between a transmitter (TX) and a receiver (RX). Backscatter devices (BDs) modulate their useful information
