The resolving power of traditional radar is mainly analyzed using the ambiguity function, and its limit is generally characterized by the Rayleigh limit. Bats have a rather sensitive auditory system.

Introduction to Noise Radar and Its Waveforms
In the system-level design for both conventional radars and noise radars, a fundamental element is the use of waveforms suited to the particular application. In the military arena, low probability of intercept (LPI) and of exploitation (LPE) by the enemy

Measuring ambiguity aversion: A systematic experimental approach [PDF]
This paper provides a systematic analysis of individual attitudes towards ambiguity, based on laboratory experiments. The design of the analysis allows to capture individual behavior across various levels of ambiguity, ranging from low to high. Attitudes

ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

Design of h--CPM-LFM Radar-Communication Integration Signal [PDF]
In light of the increasing requirement for the electromagnetic spectrum, the integration of radar and communication is widely concerned because of its equipment miniaturizing and high efficiency of spectrum.

Perhirhinal cortex resolves feature ambiguity in configural object recognition and perceptual oddity tasks [PDF]
The perirhinal cortex (PRh) has a well-established role in object recognition memory. More recent studies suggest that PRh is also important for two-choice visual discrimination tasks.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Resolving the ambiguity: Forest function or ecosystem service?
Ecosystem services (ES) have become one of the most popular concepts in environmental research over the last decades. Nevertheless, the concept is quite new for the Turkish forestry sector. The number of national ES studies is very limited, and they have

Investment under ambiguity with the best and worst in mind
Recent literature on optimal investment has stressed the difference between the impact of risk and the impact of ambiguity - also called Knightian uncertainty - on investors' decisions.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...
