R1 Prognostic Significance of T‐Wave Amplitude Variability for Adverse Cardiovascular Outcomes: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 4, August 2026.
In this systematic review and meta‐analysis of seven studies involving 1366 patients, elevated T‐wave amplitude variability (TAV) was associated with a 2.5‐fold higher risk of adverse cardiovascular outcomes. These findings support TAV as a marker of ventricular repolarization instability for long‐term risk stratification.

Identifying Demographic Factors Affecting the ECG Duration Collected Using a Single‐Lead ECG Patch Device

open access: yesAnnals of Noninvasive Electrocardiology
Introduction Atrial fibrillation (AF), affecting 3% of the US adults, is the most common arrhythmia. While ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring is essential for AF detection, conventional technologies have diagnostic limitations due to AF's ...

Catheter Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation in Cardiac Amyloidosis: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 4, August 2026.
This systematic review and meta‐analysis of 13 observational studies found that catheter ablation was associated with lower odds of all‐cause mortality compared with medical management in cardiac amyloidosis and atrial fibrillation. Freedom from atrial arrhythmia after ablation was approximately 50%, with no significant associations for heart failure ...

Myoblast Transfer in Ischemic Heart Failure: Effects on Rhythm Stability

open access: yesCell Transplantation, 2009
Skeletal myoblast (SM) implantation promotes recovery of myocardial function after ischemic injury. Clinical observations suggest an association of SM implantation and ventricular arrhythmias.
