Lysosome‐Acidifying Nanoparticles Rescue A30P α‐Synuclein Induced Neuronal Death in Cellular and Drosophila Models of Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Lysosome‐targeted acidic nanoparticles based on a biodegradable poly(ethylene tetrafluorosuccinate‐co‐succinate) copolymer are engineered to restore impaired lysosomal acidification through pH‐responsive intracellular degradation. Localized acid release enhances autophagic proteolysis, reduces α‐synuclein accumulation, and preserves dopaminergic neuron

Fluid Forces Control Structural Remodeling of Blind‐Ended Lymphatic Microvessels

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Using innovative microfluidic biofabrication with fluid mechanical insights, we recapitulated the blind‐ended microanatomy and physiological drainage properties of capillary lymphatics. Our results reveal the interrelationship between intra‐ and extraluminal regions of lymphatic vessels due to flow‐induced sprouting and morphological changes that ...

A Personalized, 3D Printed Polymeric Device for the Prevention of Post‐Myocardial Infarction Cardiac Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Myocardial infarction often leads to pathological remodelling and ventricular dilatation, key features of HFrEF. This study introduces a personalized, 3D‐printed cardiac restraint device (CARD) printed using rationally designed inks displaying the requested printability and mechanical properties.

Phase space of Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity with positive cosmological constant

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In this paper we construct the classical phase space of Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity with positive cosmological constant on spatial slices with circle topology. This turns out to be somewhat more intricate than in the case of negative cosmological constant;

Mapping the Cerebral Organoid Landscape: A Systematic Review of Preclinical 3D Models in Neuroscience

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Cerebral organoids are transforming brain research, yet the field remains fragmented. This comprehensive systematic review maps 738 studies published between 2014 and 2024 to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities across neuroscience. Introducing OrganoidMap—an interactive, open‐access platform to explore and compare models—this work enables ...

Electrochemical Synthesis of 3-Selenyl-Chromones via Domino C(sp2)-H Bond Selenylation/Annulation of Enaminones

open access: yesMolecules
Herein, we disclose a highly efficient pathway toward 3-selenylated chromone derivatives via electrosynthesis domino C(sp2)-H bond selenylation/cyclization/deamination of 2-hydroxyaryl enaminones with diselenides. This method showed mild conditions, easy

Amenability and Co-Amenability of Algebraic Quantum Groups.

open access: yes, 2001
We define concepts of amenability and co-amenability for algebraic quantum groups in the sense of A. Van Daele [21]. We show that co-amenability of an algebraic quantum group always implies amenability of its dual. Various necessary and/or sufficient conditions for amenability or co-amenability are obtained.

Copolymers of Poly(Butylene Trans‐1,4‐Cyclohexanedicarboxylate)/Pripol as New Biomaterial Platform for Small Diameter Vascular Graft

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Electrospun tubular scaffolds from novel PBCE‐based copolyesters and blends were designed as candidates for small‐diameter vascular grafts. They combine defect‐free architecture, blood‐compatible surfaces, and mechanical properties comparable to native vessels.
