Surrogacy, privacy, and the American Convention on Human Rights. [PDF]

However, the legal status of surrogacy agreements in State Parties to the American Convention on Human Rights (ACHR) is mostly uncertain. The article discusses whether a complete ban on surrogacy is compatible with the ACHR.
