Charge density distribution in aminomethylphosphonic acid

Acta Crystallographica Section B Structural Science, 2010
The experimental charge density distribution in aminomethylphosphonic acid has been determined from X-ray diffraction and its topological features have been analyzed. The results have shown that the P—O bonds are highly polarized, moreover the P—OH bond is weaker than the bonds to unprotonated O atoms.

Glyphosate and aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA) residues in Brazilian honey

Food Additives & Contaminants: Part B, 2020
Glyphosate (GLY) is the most widely used herbicide in the world and studies have shown that its exposure at sublethal doses has led to reduced sensitivity and decreased associative memory in bees. Thus, a high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detector with derivatisation reaction was used to determine residues of GLY and ...

A Convenient Synthesis of Aminomethylphosphonic Acid

Synthetic Communications, 1986
Abstract A novel procedure for the preparation of aminometnylphosphonic acid (AMPA) is described. This compound. which has been shown to have some biological activity, is synthesized by treating N-hydroxymethylbenzamide with a mixture of phosphorous trichloride and trimethyl phosphite, followed by hydrolysis of the ester intermediate.

Certain derivatives of aminomethylphosphonic acid

Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1955
1. Experiments on the acylatlon of aminomethylphosphonic acid show that it proceeds with greater difficulty than the acylation of glycine. Acetamidomethyl-, (chloroacetamido)methyl-, and phthalimidamethyl-phosphonic acids have been prepared. 2. The methylation of aminomethylphosphonic acid has been effected by means of methyl iodide in a

Aminomethylphosphonic Acid Accumulation in Plant Species Treated with Glyphosate

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2008
Aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA) is the most frequently detected metabolite of glyphosate in plants. The objective of this study was to determine if there is any correlation of metabolism of glyphosate to AMPA in different plant species and their natural level of resistance to glyphosate. Greenhouse studies were conducted to determine the glyphosate I

Aminomethylphosphonic Acid and Glyphosate Adsorption onto Goethite:  A Comparative Study

Environmental Science & Technology, 2004
Glyphosate is a non-selective, broad spectrum, post-emergent herbicide widely used in weed control. Aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA) is one of the main products of biodegradation of glyphosate in natural systems before its ultimate mineralization and also the breakdown product of more complex phosphonates such as nitrilotris-(methylenephosphonic acid).

A Convenient Synthesis of Aminomethylphosphonous Acid

Synthetic Communications, 1989
Abstract Aminomethylphosphonous acid has been prepared in exellent yield by alkylation of bis(trimethylsilyl) ethoxycarbonylphosphonite 2 with N-(bromomethyl)phthalimide 1, followed by acidic removal of protecting groups.
