Acute Systemic Complications Following High‐Dose Semaglutide Reinitiation in an Elderly Patient

ABSTRACT Severe gastrointestinal intolerance with systemic complications can occur within hours of reinitiating high‐dose semaglutide after a prolonged treatment interruption, even in patients who previously tolerated the medication. Pleuritis Induced by Brigatinib During the Treatment of Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer

This is the first reported case of brigatinib‐induced pleuritis in ALK‐positive lung cancer. Pleural effusion resolved after discontinuation and did not recur at a reduced dose of 30 mg/day. Dose reduction to 30 mg/day could be a safe and effective management strategy in selected patients.
